Grew up from childhood with animals…
Even as a child I grew up with hundreds of chickens: My grandfather was one of the best known poultry in Europe, which refers to the breeding of yellow and black “Italians” had specialized. My father is then followed in his footsteps, and of course I was also involved more or less – naja, less with the breeding, rather with the cleaning the chicken coops, and especially the great outlets for the breed chickens, I was often busy. That was then in the Ruhr, There were many chickens- and many pigeon breeders, then the best on large exhibitions and domestic animals presented also some prizes. So it was clear, I was always very fond of animals and, for example while studying a budgie in my little dorm room had. And as life goes, I flew another budgie to. When I later during the study had a high school education in sports and ev. Religion was, I gave the students two budgies, so I take care of a sudden two cages with four birds had.
After moving to Bayern (and unfortunately the death age of the birds) then came a few years later, a cat (Fine) the house, that was my very special friend and unfortunately 1998 was run over by a car. Since I had become so accustomed to cats, was 1999 an elderly couple into the house cat, Lenny and Gina, both of which I got from a shelter.
Gina, which in turn was my special friend, then divided 2003 Unfortunately, the fate of Fina and was outside the front door, approached on the street and killed. Lenny, however, is still with me, meanwhile 17 Years old and was stricken: Someone has it views as a target for an air rifle and hit him with a bullet near the spine – could remove the vet to happiness. And then a few days before Christmas, Lenny came up with a shattered leg crawled home… All medical aid did not help, The leg had to be amputated, so that he's working with three legs.
