6.2.2012: Finally, möchte man ausrufen, geht es Doping-Sündern mal wieder an den Kragen. Auch wenn es lange, viel zu lange gedauert hat, nun ist der oberste Tour-Betrüger Alberto Contador endlich gesperrt worden, as including the FTD heute berichtet. Dem Ansehen der Tour, die durch zahlreiche Doping-Vorkommnisse zumindest bei mir schon eh den Nullpunkt des Interesses erreicht hat, wird das allerdings auch nicht mehr helfen…

Syria UN resolution fails, as in Oktopber 2011 the veto by Russia and China: Both veto powers to isolate more

5.2.2012: Es war zwar nicht anders zu erwarten, als dass ausgerechnet Russland und China ihr Veto gegen eine erneute Syrien-Resolution im UN-Sicherheitsrat aussprachen. Gelten beide Länder doch nicht wirklich als drängendste Verfechter von Menschenrechten. Es lief also wieder so wie im October 2011 from…  Da stellt sich zum einen die generelle Frage, ob dieser UN-Sicherheits in der aktuellen Form überhaupt noch eine Daseinsberechtigung hat. Und zum zweiten, ob bei einer geänderten Struktur Länder wie Russland und China überhaupt noch irgendein Veto-Recht bekommen dürfen. read more »

2.2.2012: Es hat ein wenig gedauert, aber ich möchte natürlich allen NCIS-Fans nicht vorenthalten, was in Folge 13 der neunten Staffel passiert – naja, zum Teil wenigstens. die ganze Spannung will ich ja nicht vorwegnehmen… Es beginnt diesmal damit, dass eine Maklerin einem Paar ein ziemlich unaufgeräumtes Loft zeigt, das den Charme eines Luftschutzbunkers hat. New error message in Windows 7: Since it remains somewhat perplexed

31.1.2012: Sometimes you just do nothing, to generate error messages. In the truest sense of the word: do nothing. I had Word 2010 run on my Windows 7 PC, was not a time to work on the PC – and the result was the error message from the picture. What does she want me to say only?

Short break at the Sunrise Holidays Resort in Hurghada: Perfect for relaxing

8.1.2012: In the TV series such as NCIS, Castle or Human Target I have been happy to refer to tv.com, about where to read the summary of a sequence to. Unfortunately tv.com has changed completely since recently the entire website (Although there now and everything is totally confusing and much more user-unfriendly design), so that existing links no longer work on the one, for another, many of the so-called recaps as summaries generally do not discover there any more. In the future I will no longer refer to tv.com. So who comes to a dead link, there comes into the void: sorry, I will try to remove the links and little, to find another source…
